Tourist levy welcomed...if it works

Tourism Industry Aotearoa say it will back a new border levy for international travelers, as long as the money is used well.

The advocacy group hopes the levy will be used to improve visitor experience in the country.

We ask Jordan Williams from the Taxpayers' Union whether this is why the public often takes issues with some taxes and levies - they don't know how their money is going to be spent.
