Woodhill Mountain Bike Park in Auckland is closed until further notice after a mountain biker died in an accident earlier this afternoon.
Police said they were called to the scene about 12.33pm and were investigating the incident.
Medical assistance was provided but the person who fell from their mountain bike died at the scene.
"The full circumstances of the incident are being investigated and will form part of the coronial inquiries."
Woodhill Mountain Bike Park has told visitors not to enter the park.
