A woman injured when the Lime scooter she was riding collided with a truck on State Highway 1 last week remains in hospital in a serious but stable condition.
The 26-year-old was taken to hospital in a critical condition early on Friday morning and had surgery that day.
The police are continuing to investigate the crash.
Meanwhile, a 43-year-old Auckland man is also in a stable condition after receiving head injuries when he fell from an e-scooter over the weekend.
Police have confirmed the e-scooter was not a Lime rental scooter.
