Fiji's National Disaster Management Office will test tsunami sirens around the country today.

The office said the tests were aligned with the government's commitment to ensuring a state of readiness for a disaster.
It told the Fiji Times the tests would also challenge people to react at inconvenient times.
The tests will be conducted between 11am and 12pm local time.
