The Samoa Under 20s rugby team have been outclassed in their final warm-up game before the start of the Junior World Championship.
The Semo Sititi-coached side were thumped 45-21 by a Blues Development team featuring former Manu Samoa halfback Junior Poluleuligaga.
The Samoans trailed for much of the first half before two intercept tries gave them a 21-19 lead at the interval.
However they failed to add to their total in the second half, conceding a further four tries as Fijian winger Filipo Nakosi bagged a hat-trick.
Samoa open their Junior World Championship campaign against hosts New Zealand on Monday.
