Fiji police are investigating a complaint of threatening and intimidating behaviour filed against a government MP.

The Fiji Village website reports the National Federation Party's Youth Wing President, Sharveen Chaudhary, filed the complaint relating to an incident on May 17.

Mr Chaudhary alleged the government MP approached him and his colleague in the parliament cark park while visibly angry and shouting.

He said the government MP confronted them about social media posts the Youth Wing had made regarding submissions to the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs and Defence.

Mr Chaudhary also alleged the government MP told them to "watch out", as he knew where their office was and verbally abused them.
