Boston Marathon bombing accused Dzhokhar Tsarnaev was indicted on Thursday on charges of killing four people and using a weapon of mass destruction.
Tsarnaev, 19, faces 30 charges linked to the two explosions on 15 April, which killed three people and wounded more than 260 others.
Federal prosecutors say a fourth person, a policeman, was shot dead by him and his brother during the hunt for them.
The BBC reports Tsarnaev could face life in prison or even the death penalty.
His brother, Tamerlan Tsarnaev, 26, was killed in a shoot-out with police on 18 April.
Dzhokhar Tsarnaev was wounded in that gun battle and has been held in a prison hospital near Boston since his capture on 19 April.
