Labour and the Greens: A memorandum of under-standing?

Opinion - As the polls show Labour gaining, apparently at the Greens' expense, Toby Morris wonders what it'll mean for the two parties' alliance.

Green Party leader James Shaw told Morning Report today that he was confident the party would bounce back after Metiria Turei's resignation as co-leader and the exit of two other MPs.

Labour leader Jacinda Ardern, meanwhile, is enjoying a surge in popularity. She said earlier this month that the two parties' memorandum of understanding remained intact and unchanged.
