The Earthquake Commission says it has now received almost 1800 claims for damage from Christchurch's 4.9 magnitude Boxing Day earthquake.
That is an increase of 233 since Thursday.
The commission says at this stage it expects the final claim numbers for this aftershock will exceed those of the two earlier big aftershocks, on 19 October and 14 November.
The total number of claims received for the 4 September earthquake and the three main aftershocks stands at more than 163,000.
