Four teenage boys between the ages of 14 and 16 have been arrested in relation to a brawl outside De La Salle College in south Auckland last Friday.
All four have been charged with wounding with intent to injure and one with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
Area Commander for Counties Manukau West Police Inspector Matt Srhoj said for privacy reasons police would not say which school the boys were from.
The person injured in the incident had been released from hospital and was recovering from their injuries, Srhoj said.
He said help from the community showed there was "zero tolerance for this sort of violent behaviour".
An increased police presence in Māngere East and Ōtāhuhu would remain in place "for the time being".
