Police are investigating a slew of burglaries in Auckland overnight.
Officers were first called to a ram raid on Jean Batten Place in the city centre just after 2am this morning.
Police were then alerted to a suspect setting off an alarm in south Auckland's Papatoetoe, where a 26-year-old man was arrested.
Just before 3am, police responded to a smash and grab at a Clover Park dairy, where offenders stole cigarettes before fleeing.
At about 4.30pm, police responded to a ram raid on Bruce McLaren Road in West Auckland's Henderson, where stolen goods were found dumped nearby.
