Police are investigating a daylight robbery at a Westpac Bank in the Chartwell Mall in Hamilton.

A police spokesperson said they were alerted to the incident at about 1.30pm.
Enquiries are underway to establish the circumstances.
Nobody was physically injured and bank staff are being offered support.
Police said further updates will be made when available.
Westpac supporting team
A Westpac spokesperson said they were supporting the team at Chartwell following today's incident.
The spokesperson said the branch will be closed today and tomorrow morning as they attend to the needs of their employees.
A spokerperson for Chartwell Shopping Centre confirmed the mall remained open for business.
