Wellington City councillor Tamatha Paul will this morning try to get a council loan to Wellington airport taken off the table.
The council's long-term plan is up for discussion today and in it is a proposal to lend the airport $75 million to build a seawall.
Community groups plan to argue against the loan at the meeting.
