New record medal haul at cycling world champs for NZ team

The New Zealand team has won a record third medal at the world track cycling championships in Poland.

The men's 4000-metre pursuit combination of Jesse Sergent, Marc Ryan, Wes Gough and Peter Latham won the bronze medal, beating the Olympic champions Great Britain by more than a second in the ride=off.

Denmark won the gold medal race against Australia.

This makes the BikeNZ team the most successful at a world track championships, with two days of the competition still remaining.
