Latest - Former India captain Sourav Ganguly, who now heads the country's cricket board (BCCI), is stable in hospital after undergoing angioplasty in Kolkata following chest pains.
Ganguly, 48, was rushed to Woodlands Hospital after he complained of chest discomfort while exercising on a treadmill at his home gym.
The hospital said that tests showed he had suffered a mild heart attack and had blockages in three coronary arteries.
"He came in good time. One of his arteries had critical blockage which we removed through angioplasty," Aftab Khan, a cardiologist, said.
"He has improved, the pain in his chest has reduced. He is stable now. He has to be kept under observation for 24 hours so he will have to stay in hospital."

Indians under investigation
Five India cricketers were placed in isolation while the Australian and Indian cricket boards investigate allegations of breach of biosecurity protocols after a video surfaced showing the players eating at a Melbourne restaurant.
A video posted on social media showed Rohit Sharma, Rishabh Pant, Shubman Gill, Navdeep Saini and Prithvi Shaw eating together on New Year's Day.
"The BCCI and CA are investigating the matter and seeking to determine whether the outing constitutes a breach of biosecurity protocols," Cricket Australia said in a statement.
The Indian players will be allowed to train while adhering to the biosecurity protocols, the host governing body added.
According to the strict biosecurity protocols set by Cricket Australia, players are allowed to sit outside but not allowed to dine inside restaurants.

Anderson, Price into world darts decider
Gary Anderson booked his place in the final of the darts world championship after a 6-3 victory over Dave Chisnall at Alexandra Palace in London.
Chisnall sent Michael Van Gerwen crashing out of the tournament with a shock 5-0 victory over the world No.1 in Friday's quarter-finals.
But the Englishman was unable to replicate his last-eight performance as Anderson cruised to victory to secure his fifth final appearance.
Two-time world champion Anderson fired in 13 maximums and kept his average above 100 to set up Sunday's clash against Gerwyn Price.
But the 50-year-old Scot, who was crowned world champion in 2015 and 2016, said he was disappointed with his performance.
"There needs to be a lot more from me tomorrow and I need to buck up my ideas."
Earlier, Price became the first Welshman to reach the decider following a breath-taking 6-4 win against Stephen Bunting.
World No.2 Price took the first set with an average of 105 before Bunting hit back to take the second, third and fourth to move into a 3-1 lead.
Price responded by sealing the fifth and sixth sets only for Bunting to nudge in front again after a brilliant 148 checkout helped fire him into a 4-3 advantage.
But Price drew level with an average of 112 in the eighth before going on to wrap up the next two sets and book his place in the final.

Lions set to discuss SA tour
The British and Irish Lions will discuss this month whether to visit South Africa as planned later in the year because of concerns about the Covid-19 pandemic.
The Lions are scheduled to play eight matches in South Africa, including a three-Test series against world champions the Springboks, starting on July 3 in Cape Town.
But the coronavirus, which has seen a new variant emerge from England and South Africa, has cast doubt on the trip.
"As you would expect, we are progressing with our plans based on the latest information available to us," Lions managing director Ben Calveley said.
"However, given the uncertainty that continues to be caused by the coronavirus pandemic both in South Africa, as well as the UK and Ireland, we are very aware of the need to make a timely decision on the best way forward.
"The Lions Board has had repeated meetings to discuss all scenarios available and is in constant dialogue. It will meet throughout January and into February, if required, to review all relevant information and data."

Fulham's Covid troubles continue
Fulham's Premier League trip to Burnley on Monday (NZ time) has been postponed due to fresh Covid-19 cases at the London club.
The move comes after Fulham's away game against Tottenham Hotspur on Thursday was also called off due to a "significant rise" in positive coronavirus cases within their camp.
Fulham requested the Premier League to rearrange the Burnley game after the latest round of testing revealed a further increase in positive Covid-19 cases.
"With the health of players and staff the priority, the League and Fulham will agree a further action plan to control the outbreak to allow the club to resume their season safely," the league said in a statement.
The match becomes the fourth in the English top flight to be postponed due to COVID-19 cases since the start of December, with Manchester City and Newcastle United also reporting multiple positive cases.
