RTS doesn't is determined not to leave Auckland rugby without some silverware.

Roger Tuivasa-Sheck will be at fullback for Auckland in their NPC pre-season match against Northland this weekend as the countdown to his return to the Warriors begins.

It's only two years since Tuivasa-Sheck switched codes in the hope of making the All Blacks World Cup squad.

He played three games for the All Blacks but was unable to crack the squad on a regular basis and earlier this year announced he was returning to the Warriors and the NRL.

"I'm backing [the All Blacks] to put on a good performance against Australia in Melbourne".

"The All Blacks are going to pump the Wallabies" and "most definitely going to win the World Cup".

"They're the best team in the world and they are going to show that," he said.

Unsurprisingly he's been keeping a close eye on the high flying Warriors who are currently third in the NRL and said there strong performances this year are "not by fluke".

"You can see them working hard, defending the goal line and moving in attack".

For now though his focus is on his remaining time in rugby.

"I am just enjoying my game and enjoying my footy".

"I still want to win a championship for the Auckland team, thats the goal for me".

The last time Auckland Rugby won the National Province Championship was in 2018 against Canterbury.

For the time being he will be foucusing on completing the NPC season and taking it, "day by day'.

"I'm excited for whats ahead but I enjoy coming to train with these boys".
