Turkish president's comments on attacks 'lamentable'

A security expert and former Australian diplomat in the Middle East says despite recent comments from the President of Turkey, New Zealanders and Australians should be safe to attend Anzac commemorations in Gallipoli this year. There's been alarm at comments made by president Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who described the Christchurch shootings as part of a wider attack on Turkey and threatened to send back "in caskets" anyone who tried to take the battle to Istanbul.
