A New Zealander has died following a crash in Samoa on Tuesday.
A spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade said the consul from the New Zealand High Commission in Apia is in contact with the person's next-of-kin who in Samoa.
Samoan news website Talamua is reporting that four people were killed in the crash in the eastern part of Upolu Island and a fifth person is in hospital with serious injuries.
It says those who died are believed to have been visitors from Australia and the United States, as well as New Zealand.
