A person has died after they were hit by a bus on Auckland's North Shore this afternoon.
Auckland Transport said the fatal collision happened at the Albany Bus Station just after 2pm, where the woman died at the scene.
It said the bus station was closed while police investigate the scene.
The bus driver has been stood down and a scene cordon are in place.
Buses into and out of the area will be disrupted this afternoon.
