The Duchess of Cambridge is pregnant with her second child.
The Duchess and Prince William, who is the grandson of Queen Elizabeth, had their first child Prince George in July last year.
William is second in line to the British throne with George third.
Clarence House said: “Their Royal Highnesses the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to announce that the Duchess of Cambridge is expecting their second child.”
Prince Harry, who will become the fifth in line for the throne after the baby is born, says it is “very exciting news” and quipped: “I cannot wait to see my brother suffer more,” the Daily Mail reports.
Asked whether he could give the new baby any advice or “strategy” on being a younger sibling, he told the newspaper: “There's never a strategy. I think George will be over the moon. I think he will be thrilled having another small younger brother or sister.”
