The Waikato centre Save Tokula has been cited for a dangerous tackle on Wellington's David Smith during their Air New Zealand Cup rugby match win in Hamilton on Friday night.
Tokula was cited for a tackle that was high and around the player's neck.
He'll appear before the New Zealand rugby union judiciary on Wednesday afternoon.
