Fuel operator Z Energy says has completed the change of its brand after buying the Shell business two years ago.
Jointly owned by Infratil and the New Zealand Superannuation Fund, Z Energy has rebranded nearly 300 service stations and truck stops throughout New Zealand since November last year.
A final petrol, in the Christchurch suburb of Addington, was due to be rebranded on Friday.
Though the entire rebrand project cost $36 million, but Z Energy's chief executive Mike Bennetts says it it is money well spent.
Mr Bennetts says 3500 people were employed over the nine-month rebrand.
