Officials on Rapa Nui, or Chilean administered Easter Island, are being very cautious to avoid further cases of Covid-19 as repatriation flights begin from the mainland.
507 islanders returned to the island over the weekend.
However, 25 people were refused travel when Covid-19 symptoms were discovered by Rapa Nui officials.

16 of the 25 later tested positive for the disease.
No new cases have been detected on Rapa Nui since the initial five at the start of the lockdown in March.

A Rapa Nui tour operator, Sebastian Paoa Aguila, was there when the flights arrived.
"The programme where all the Rapa Nui people, they go back to the land and it's like 500 persons who was in the continent, in the mainland. And separate with the rest of the families. And yes, two planes coming with these people."
There are over 15-thousand confirmed Covid-19 cases on mainland Chile with 216 deaths recorded.
