New Zealand First says it wants to make superannuation payments only available to people who have lived in the country for at least 25 years.
New Zealand First says it will end superannuation payments to people who haven't lived in New Zealand for at least 25 years.
The party leader, Winston Peters, made the promise at an election rally in Auckland this afternoon.
Mr Peters said in the last 15 years 87,000 people came to New Zealand and received full superannuation after just 10 years.
He it was unfair on hard working taxpayers.
