Senior doctors working for the Accident Compensation Corporation (ACC) will walk off the job for four hours again this afternoon.
It follows similar strike action last week over what the doctors say is ACC's continuing refusal to negotiate properly with them.
Association of Salaried Medical Specialists spokesperson Lloyd Woods said those involved were very experienced senior doctors who did important work for ACC.
He said the fact the corporation was not taking their claims seriously constituted a lack of good faith and a lack of care or concern for them.
Today's strike action will run from 1pm until 5pm.
ACC has previously said negotiations stalled because the association was seeking terms above those offered to other employees.
Further action is planned for next month.
