A person has died after a crash in Northland.

Emergency services were called to Managakahia Road near Nukutawhiti about 9am.
Police said no one else was in the vehicle, which crashed about 3km south of the Twin Bridges.
They said the road was closed but should be reopened to one lane by 11.30am.
