The former England and Liverpool striker Robbie Fowler is taking legal action seeking damages over the termination of his contract with A-League football side North Queensland Fury.
Fowler's one of seven players whose contracts were terminated when the club was restructured in March after it suffered financial difficulty.
He has since joined Perth Glory.
