Samoa govt boosts funding to end domestic violence

Samoa's government has given $US279,940 to the Samoa Victims Support group - the largest ever grant for an NGO in the country.

The government says that 46 per cent of women in Samoa experience some sort of abuse from their partner.

Susana Suisuiki spoke with Samoa Victims Support group Chair, Georgina Lui about the funding boost and their plans to help eliminate violence among Samoan families.
