Samoa adds two diplomatic missions in Asia

Samoa has two new diplomatic mission overseas, one in China and the other in Japan.

Samoa's TV One News says the present High Commissioner to Australia, Leiataua Dr Kilifoti Eteuati has been assigned to open the country's embassy in Japan.

Replacing Leiataua in Sydney is Lemalu Tate Simi, the CEO of the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Labour.

Tapusalaia Terry Toomata has been appointed to open the new Samoan Embassy in China.

In another appointment, the Samaon cabinet has chosen Faaolotoi Reupena Pogi as Consul General in Auckland, New Zealand.

Faaolotoi is a senior auditor in the Office of the Controller and Chief Audtitor in Samoa.
