Stead appionted coach of N.Z. women's cricket team

The former international Gary Stead has been appointed coach of the New Zealand women's cricket team.

Stead replaces Steve Jenkin after his surprise resignation earlier this month after three years in the job.

Stead, has been a coach with the High Performance Centre for the past four years and has also coached the Canterbury women's side.
