Police in Waikato say the driver of a vehicle involved in a two-car crash has fled the scene, after seriously injuring another driver.
They say the crash, near Manchester Place in Te Rapa, injured a woman and a small child.
The northbound lane of Te Rapa Road at the intersection with Manchester Place was closed to traffic at 9pm on Sunday and detours were in place.
