Train services back on track after tree cleared

Train services are resuming on the Hutt Valley line after a tree was cleared away.

The tree fell on the track at Taita earlier this afternoon.

Hutt Valley services were disrupted with buses replacing trains at Petone.

However, in the past half-an-hour Metlink said services can resume.

It said Taita services will remain cancelled during the peak rush.
