A person has died after a workplace accident in Manawatu-Whanganui District.
Emergency services were called to Mangamahu, a remote farming and forest area off State Highway Four, shortly before midday.
WorkSafe has been notified and the death is being referred to the coroner.
An investigation is underway, police said.
