Major UK news outlets are calling Scotland’s independence referendum in favour of the “No” vote. The result will see the country stay part of the United Kingdom.
With more than half of votes counted, 55 per cent of voters appear set to reject the proposal to split from England, Northern Ireland and Wales, The Guardian reports.
