Staff on a Qantas flight from Sydney to Auckland have followed through on a deal to wear black jerseys if Australia failed to win the Rugby World Cup.

The All Blacks beat Australia 34-17 on Sunday to become the first team to retain the Webb Ellis Cup and the first to win it three times.
The Australian airline had made a wager with Air New Zealand that, whoever's team won the final, crew members from the other airline would have to wear the winning side's jerseys.

Qantas spokesperson Tom Woodward said yesterday that Air New Zealand would hand over the jerseys to Qantas at Sydney Airport in a ceremony before the flight, and that an onboard announcement would also be made acknowledging New Zealand's win.
Photos posted by Qantas to Facebook today showed crew members, including the midday flight's two pilots, dressed in All Blacks-branded gear.
