Fiji has recorded its seventh case of Covid-19 in border quarantine.
The Health Ministry says the latest patient is a 61-year-old man who had travelled from Sacramento in the United States, transiting through Auckland and arriving in Nadi on flight NZ952 last Thursday, 6 August.

The Permanent Secretary for Health, Dr James Fong, said the man tested positive after developing mild covid symptoms at a quarantine facility in Nadi.
The man has been isolated in hospital according to Dr Fong and is said to be in a stable condition.
Meanwhile, eight Fiji nationals arrived in Nadi on Thursday, 13 August on a special flight from Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates.
The repatriation was made possible after a request from the Fiji Embassy in Dubai to Sultan Mohammed Al-Shamsi, the UAE's Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation for International Development Affairs.
Fiji's Health Ministry has confirmed the group is in quarantine.
