Police officers investigating a military style semi-automatic weapon and the sale of methamphetamine have made two arrests in Auckland.

They also seized two guns and a stolen Audi car in searches of two properties in Pakuranga and Karaka yesterday.
One of those arrested was a 24-year-old man and the other a 32-year-old-woman.
They are due to appear separately in the Manukau District Court this month, charged with firearms and drug-related offences.
