One of Samoa's most wanted men, Pati Chong Nee, has been taken into custody less than a year after being released from prison.
Samoa Police said Mr Chong Nee was caught after a nationwide search.
They had been seeking him for questioning over robberies and burglaries at several homes in Apia.
Police held fears for public safety after it was discovered guns had been stolen in one of the burglaries.
RNZ Pacific's Apia correspondent said the police had not made it clear what Mr Chong Nee had been charged with.
