Concerns over lack of funding for oral health pathology

The death rate from oral cancer is on a par with that of breast cancer and melanoma, but there is a desperate lack of funding for testing oral tissue samples. Professor Alison Rich is the head of the Oral Pathology Centre at Otago University and explains why more resourcing is needed.
