The latest political poll shows the National Party holding a commanding lead over the Labour Party.
The first 3 News-Reid Research poll of the year has National on 51.4% with Labour on 32.6%.
The Green Party recorded 10.8%, the only other party to make it over the 5% threshold required to get into Parliament.
New Zealand First was on 3.4%, but no other minor party registered more than 1%.
Prime Minister, John Key, remains popular as the preferred Prime Minister for 41% of voters, with Labour Party leader, David Shearer, well behind on 10%.
The poll of 1000 voters had a margin of error of plus or minus 3.1%.
