The Unity party in Fiji has had another candidate for next month's election approved after winning an appeal.
One of its nominees Laitia Matalomani had earlier been ruled out because of a criminal conviction.
The Supervisor of Elections told FBC News they had confirmed his conviction was beyond the time frame prescribed under the Electoral Act
The appeal was upheld by Fiji's Electoral Commission, making Mr Matalomani the 235th candidate for the 14 November poll.
Unity Fiji is one of six parties contesting the polls.
