Councillor: 'Wellington Water needs to front up to residents'

Wellington City council members held an urgent meeting with Wellington Water, behind closed doors today, to try and work out a way to fix wastewater pipe failures plaguing the city. Wellington's Mayor says the problems aren't just about underfunding, but there is no quick fix. Councillor Fleur Fitzsimons was at the meeting and has a dim view of Wellington Water's performance.
