Two people are missing and four are injured after a quad bike crash in the Far North on Friday evening.
Police said emergency services were called to Fern Flat Road in Peria after a quad bike rolled into a swimming hole on the swollen Waikainga Stream shortly after 5pm.
Four of the six on board were able to make it out of the water and they have been taken to hospital with minor to moderate injuries.
Two other people are still missing.
Police said the search for the missing people would continue into the evening.
The serious crash unit is investigating.
The incident comes just two days after a woman was killed in a quad bike incident in Marokopa.
