The Vanuatu opposition is lobbying for the support for another motion of no confidence against the prime minister, Joe Natuman.

This comes only weeks after the opposition leader, Moana Carcasses, failed with a motion to unseat the government.

Some opposition politicians have confirmed that they have signed a new document against Mr Natuman but don't want to elaborate on the reasons.

The public relation officer in the office of the prime minister, Kiery Manassah, says the government knows about the new motion but is not worried.

The government has the support of 32 members in the 52-seat parliament.
