The biggest night of events in Auckland since the Rugby World Cup final in 2011 went relatively smoothly, albeit with some traffic delays.

The NRL Nines rugby league tournament attracted a crowd of about 46,000 on Saturday night, some 55,000 went to the rap festival Rapture and more than 10,000 attended the Lantern Festival marking the start of the Chinese New Year.
The NRL Nines tournament has set a record for public transport use in the city with 57 percent of people who went to Eden Park on Saturday using public transport - up from 56 percent for the Rugby World Cup final in 2011.
There were some public transport delays after Auckland Transport had to scramble to get more trains when the crowds left the Nines early, following the last Warriors game. Auckland Transport said the crowds were cleared within an hour.
Major delays were reported later on the Northwestern Motorway as people made their way home from the rap festival.
Most fans seemed in good spirits as they left the ground.
Residents of Western Springs spoken to by Radio New Zealand on Saturday night said the concert and the fans had been no trouble the event seemed well organised.
Police made five arrests and evicted 29 people from the Nines.

The Rugby World Cup was marred by overcrowding at one venue and the failure of several heavily loaded trains on opening night, but this time, Ms Carroll said, all officials were incredibly well prepared.
Meanwhile, the Warriors got through to the semi-finals of the inaugural Auckland Nines rugby league tournament, but on Sunday were knocked out by the North Queensland Cowboys losing 8-0.
Earlier in the day, the Warriors beat the North Queensland Cowboys 28-23 and then narrowly beat the South Sydney Rabbitohs 17-16.
