The former Auckland fullback Brent Ward will return to New Zealand rugby in June after three years with the French club Racing Métro 92 Paris.
Ward's last game for Auckland was in the 2007 side, which won the national provincial title for the 16th time, and he says he's looking forward to pulling on a blue and white jersey again.
The 30-year-old played 70 games for Auckland from 2002-2007 and also had three Super 14 seasons with the Hurricanes and one each with the Blues and Crusaders.
