In some respects tonight's match against Greece at the Basketball World Cup is an easy equation for New Zealand - win you're in, lose you're out.
New Zealand will need to overcome the eighth best side in the world to qualify for the second round, however, Greece must also win to reach the top 16 after the side's shock loss to Brazil on Tuesday.
The team's management had hoped for a second option - lose to Greece and hope Montenegro beat Brazil by a big margin for New Zealand to qualify.
With Brazil's upset win over Greece, that option no longer exists, but that doesn't bother Tall Blacks power forward Finn Delany.
"Our fate is in our hands and that's the way we want it, we control what's going to happen next so everyone is excited.
"We've got a huge opportunity on our hands with no pressure, just the opportunity to go out there and win the basketball game," Delany said.
For the Tall Blacks to be successful, they'll need another strong performance from their sharp shooter - Corey Webster.
Webster has been New Zealand's top scorer for the tournament and his performance in the final quarter against Montenegro was a large part of why they won that match.
He says he's confident his good form will continue against Greece.
"I've been doing this my whole career, this is my standard and this is what I want to play to every game.
"I'm disappointed if I don't play up to this standard so it's not too surprising [his form], I've got confidence in myself to go out there and just do my job," Webster said.
Webster may be a big aspect of the Tall Blacks offence, but its their defence that will truly be stretched tonight.
NBA MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo stands in the way of New Zealand and the second round - a man who averages 27.7 points and 12.5 rebounds a game.
However, Brazil managed to shut down the 6'11" 'Greak Freak' by using a man standing at 6'4", so perhaps anything is possible.
Tonight's match tips off at midnight New Zealand time.
