The World Anti Doping Agency has expressed surprise at a government investigation released last week that suggested there was no organised crime involvment in New Zealand sport.
The investigation was undertaken following an investigation by the Australian Crime Commission earlier this year that linked professional sport, drugs and organised crime in that country.
The New Zealand report found no evidence of systemic use of performance enhancing drugs or the involvement of organised crime here.
But WADA's director general, David Howman, says match fixing is wide spread and while a copy of the full report hasn't been made available to him he has his concerns.
