A woman has been charged with careless driving after the school bus she was driving crashed into a power pole near Hokitika on the West Coast.
None of the 16 children on board were injured during the crash on Blue Spur Road on Monday.
The 49-year-old driver sprained her ankle. She will appear in Greymouth District Court, but no date for the appearance has been given.
