A forum in Fiji has released a draft declaration that highlights areas of concern for young women.
Nineteen participants from the sixth Fiji Young Women's Forum, plan to take the declaration to their leaders in the build up to the national election.
Economic security, health and women's equal participation in decision making are some of the priority areas outlined in the declaration.
Mamta Chand from Fiji Women's Rights Movement said the declaration was the result of women coming together to share their experiences and strategising to change perceptions.
This meeting was held in Labasa in Fiji's Northern Division for the first time since the forum began in 2012.
